2. A short and simple answer is quoted in ( 2:152) So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me. Is don't deny Allah by believing in him, as deny here is the translation of "kafara" which also means disbelieve. In fact we are encouraged to thank Allah, even if we will not be able to thank HIM the way we should Every time we blink? We don't even think about it. Are we actually able to thank Allah subhanaw taala for the 00:21:12--> 00:21:47 . 1000s of processes that are taking place in our body at this moment, right now we're not able to so all we do is we submit ourselves in humility and say, Oh Allah, I can't thank you enough. But here's my best shot. (salam) Thanks to all of you for your replies :) but when I was a good little boy back in Pakistan  , I used to say the Namaz-i-Shukrana and I remember reading in a book that in the second rakat u have to recite Surah Kafirun and also there is something else you read while in Sajdah. A: The Hadith teaches us that we should show gratitude and appreciation to the one who has done us a favour. One form of showing gratitude is to make dua for the person by saying Jazakallah (May Allah Ta’ala reward you). And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best. Praise be to Allah. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) taught us to rewards the one who does us a favour, and if we cannot do that then we should pray to Allaah for him and say: Jazaak Allaahu khayran (may Allaah reward you with good). Al-Hasan al-Basri said “A true believer is one who thinks well of Allah (swt) and therefore does good, whereas the disobedient one thinks bad of Allah (swt) and therefore does bad.”. If we think well of Allah, no matter how bad we are, we also have hope that we can be better and thus we strive to do good deeds. Thank Allah Ta’ala for His gifts Thanking Allah – اَلحَمْدُ لِله Whenever you utilize the blessing of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala), never forget the one who gave you that. When you view it as the blessing from Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) there won’t be any negligence. Before performing any deed, a good Muslim would say "In the name of Allah, most gracious and most merciful" — either to make sure that he or she is not committing an act of sin, or asking God to JmHOpsP.
